Antonio Brown arrived at Raiders training camp in a hot air balloon because of course he did

Days after Jalen Ramsey arrived at Jacksonville Jaguars training camp in a brinks truck and Tarik Cohen drove into Chicago Bears camp in a Slingshot, Oakland Raiders receiver Antonio Brown somehow found a way to one-up his NFL compatriots.

Because ground vehicles are for chumps, Brown decided to “switch it up” by using a hot air balloon to travel to the Napa Valley for Raiders training camp.

“The Napa Valley is obviously known for the hot air balloons,” Brown said in a video posted by the Raiders’ official Twitter account. “There’s a lot at stake. We’ve got to develop our identity, I think it all starts today with the commitment from guys there, everyone there understanding the reason we’re there and why they’re putting their hand in the pile, to make the Raiders great again.”

After the balloon touched down, Brown proclaimed, “Raider Nation, I’m here in Napa, excited to get to work baby!” before delivering a pun for the ages.

“Float like a butterfly, sting like AB.”

The Raiders were one of several teams to report to training camp on Friday, marking the official end of the 2019 NFL offseason.

On Wednesday, Ramsey showed up to Jaguars camp in an armored bank truck, a not-so-subtle reference to his upcoming contract negotiations with the team.

Cohen rolled up to Bears camp on Thursday in a Slingshot, a three-wheeled motor vehicle with no roof or doors.

The Raiders will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks this year, so fans will get to experience Brown’s first training camp as a Raider in all of its glory.
