Around 7,000 Redwood City Residents Without Power: Police

Redwood City Police said Saturday that thousands of the city’s residents are without power.

Around 7,000 PG&E customers in the area of Farm Hill Boulevard and Silver Hill started experience power outage around 11 a.m., according to the utility company and Redwood City Police.

PG&E said it is investigating the cause of the outage and it estimated the power to be restored around 2 p.m.

No other information was immediately available.
