Arrest Made in Connection to Woman's Death in San Jose

An arrest has been made in connection to the brutal slaying of a woman in South San Jose, according to San Jose police.

Police on Feb. 28 initially called the incident a suspicious death after a woman’s body was found in a home on the 900 block of Knollfield Way, just east of the Almaden Expressway.

The Santa Clara County coroner’s office identified the woman as 59-year-old Bambi Larson, and she died from “sharp force injuries” in her neck and torso.

During the initial investigation, police reported no obvious signs anyone tried to break into the home. Investigators also initially did not reveal who found the body and called for help.

No other information was immediately available.
