A’s Top White Sox on Ninth-Inning Throwing Error

The Oakland A’s won on a potential double play grounder Sunday, topping the Chicago White Sox 3-2 for their fourth straight victory.

With Chad Pinder at first in the bottom of the ninth, the grounder from Ramon Laureano was backhanded by Jose Rondo but thrown wildly to second, and Pinder scored all the way from first for the winning run.
