BART delays due to person on the tracks

Those using BART on their evening commute will see some delays after a person was seen on the tracks at the MacArthur station in Oakland.

The delay will be felt in the Antioch and Richmond directions, according to a tweet from BART.

A conductor told riders that the incident was “massively delaying trains,” and officials said commuters would see about a 20 minute delay.

BART police are currently en route to the scene to find the person and get them off the tracks, according to the conductor.
