Can you ID these Giants players by the weird nickname they chose to have on their jersey?

The San Francisco Giants have announced the nicknames for team jerseys to be worn during Major League Baseball Players’ Weekend on Aug. 23-25.

This could not come at a better time for fans, who could use a distraction after watching the Giants lose five out of six games since the trade deadline to dip below .500.

The players chose the nicknames for the uniforms. Some are easily recognizable.

For example, Madison Bumgarner went with Mad-Bum, Evan Longoria picked Longo, Jeff Samardzija is Shark, Pablo Sandoval stuck with Panda, and Mike Yastrzemski is Yaz, just like his Hall of Fame grandfather.

Everyone knows who “Boch” is, and “Smitty” (Will Smith), “Dugg” (Steven Duggar). KP (Kevin Pillar), “Soli” (Donovan Solano), “Gottie” (Trevor Gott) won’t win any prizes for creativity.

But can you identify Giants who will be wearing the following nicknames? (See the answers in the slideshow.)

BOB
HUM BUSS
RYAN
I BELIEVE
DJ BC RAW
BEEDAH
AC
GRANDPA
EL TIBU
TONE RANGER
