Fire Crews Respond to Passenger Jet With Engine Out Landing at San Jose Airport

The San Jose Fire Department was called to Mineta San Jose International Airport late Sunday on a report of a 737 passenger jet with an engine out that was scheduled to land at about 5:30 p.m., according to an airport official.

Swift Air flight 5093 reportedly landed safely, but fire crews were on hand as a precautionary measure.
