San Francisco Fire officials reopened the area of 7th and Bryant streets Thursday after a gas leak prompted a warning for the public to avoid the area.
An emergency alert at 10:27 a.m. noted that all traffic in the area was being diverted and that PG&E and firefighters were on the scene.
The 7th Street offramp from eastbound 80 was also shut down due to the gas main break, KCBS reported, and traffic was also backing up in the area.
By 11:05 a.m. the Southern District SFFD station tweeted that roadways in the area were reopening.
