San Jose Police Investigating Deadly Shooting Near SJSU

The San Jose Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred blocks from San Jose State University early Friday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a person shot near William and 10th St. around 2 a.m. and upon arrival, found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No suspects have been identified or arrested.
