SF Fire Department says 15 people are displaced after residential fire in Panhandle

Firefighters responded to a fire in the Panhandle neighborhood of San Francisco Monday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The fire broke out on the 1200 block of Page St., near the San Francisco DMV. SFFD reported that 15 individuals were displaced.

Videos from the scene showed the structure on fire was on the third floor of a three-story building.

The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management told individuals to avoid “the area of Page and Baker due to fire activity” at 3:42 p.m.

SFFD said that there were no reported injuries. The Red Cross was responding at the scene to assist those displaced. The fire was contained by 4:08 p.m.
