Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is pretty good at basketball, and he’s apparently not terrible at lacrosse either.
Following a shoot-around at Arizona State University leading up to the team’s game vs. the Phoenix Suns on Friday night, Curry stepped outside and played a brief game of catch with members of the school’s women’s lacrosse team.
The two-time MVP caught two of the four passes thrown his way, and none of his throws were offline.
He did have some issues scooping the ball off of the ground however (he ended up using his hand to put the ball in the pocket, which is very illegal), but pulled off a spin move without losing the ball before signing a few autographs for the players.
The official Twitter account of Major League Lacrosse, America’s largest professional lacrosse league, made a not-so-subtle recruiting pitch to the Warriors star.
“We have a 2-point arc… just saying @StephenCurry30,” the MLL tweeted.
So maybe it’s only a matter of time before Curry makes the switch to lacrosse and becomes the most-prolific 2-point shooter in MLL history.
The Warriors and Suns tip off at 6 p.m. Friday night.
