A game of “human basketball hoop” with Warriors star Stephen Curry and “The Late Late Show” host James Corden started off strong — but things devolved in a hurry.
Curry made an appearance on the late-night show Tuesday to chat about his career and partake in a rousing game of “human basketball hoop,”with Corden starring as the hoop. Protected by a face mask, Corden is lifted up in a harness with a hoop strapped to his midriff.
“Feeling pretty confident,” Curry joked as Corden was raised up, “it’s a big target up there.”
“I’ll tell you what, I’m just pleased I’ve had all of my children,” Corden responded. “That’s the main thing I’m thinking about right now.”

Curry does pretty well on the first few racks, but things take a turn when Corden starts twisting in the wind. In response, Curry abandons his sweet stroke and starts flinging basketballs at the host. He finishes the game with seven shots made (“I’ll take it,” Curry says).
During the interview portion of the show, Curry also addressed his now-infamous slip — offering up his explanation for why he took an embarrassing tumble on the way to an uncontested dunk — and talked about his child acting debut in a Burger King commercial.
“I remember being really salty that Burger King gave us cold fries on set,” Curry recalled. “We’re promoting y’all’s brand. At least give us some hot fries.”
