These Women’s World Cup players have Bay Area roots

Women’s soccer has deep roots in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. Several prominent players will be playing essential roles for their national teams in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup that kicks off on Friday when host county France takes on South Korea.

Some are well known, like Cal Berkeley alum Alex Morgan. But do you also another striker from Cal who will also be starting for a national side in the tournament?
