Two-Alarm Fire in San Francisco Leaves Multiple Injured

Two adults are critically injured and three others are seriously injured following a two-alarm fire in San Francisco, officials said.

The San Francisco Fire Department reported to the scene of 70 and 72 Liebig St. around 12:30 a.m. early Wednesday morning and rescued the five people.

The fire was placed under control around 1:45 a.m. The American Red Cross is on the scene to assist those displaced.

A total of 23 fire apparatuses and 72 firefighters battled the blaze.

No additional information was immediately available.
