Santa Rosa police are searching for the driver of a vehicle who drove away after hitting a seven-year-old girl on Saturday evening.
The girl was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Footage of the collision, on Louis Krohn Drive in Santa Rosa, was captured by a resident’s security camera. It shows the black sedan strike the child as she crosses the street, sending her soaring through the air. After the girl stands up and runs away, the vehicle flees the scene.

Police identified the driver as a male with a beard. They have not released a license plate number.
Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call the Santa Rosa Police Department at 707-528-5222. The Sonoma County Alliance is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
KPIX identified the victim as Hazel Conzet of Santa Rosa. The news station said Conzet sustained scrapes and bruises and is healing at home.
