Check out the slideshow above to see what the Warriors’ entire roster looks like with FaceApp’s ‘Old Age’ filter applied.
In case you were wondering why there was a major uptick in old people in your Instagram and Twitter timeline on Tuesday, you can blame FaceApp.
The free app — which is as popular as it is controversial — features an “Old Age” filter that auto-edits your selfie to show you what you might look like 40+ years from now.
NBA players seemingly all discovered it on the exact same day, with Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Paul George, DeMar DeRozan (who was NOT a fan) and the Warriors’ own Stephen Curry all posting hilarious FaceApp pics to the ‘Gram.
Rather than wait on Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Co. to find the perfect selfie, we ran the entire Warriors starting lineup through the app’s filter in the slideshow above to see what a Golden State senior rec league team might look like.
Two things: 1) It looks like it would still be very, very good at basketball, and 2) let’s just say the filter isn’t kind to the Splash Brothers’ necks.
