Casey Cizikas and Jordan Eberle scored 33 seconds apart in the final two minutes of the third period to lift the Islanders to a 5-4 comeback win over host Winnipeg on Thursday night.
Cizikas took advantage when Winnipeg couldn’t clear the puck and scored at 18:14 to make it 4-4. Eberle recorded his second goal of the game at 18:47 when he beat Connor Hellebuyck to complete the rally for the Islanders.
Mathew Barzal ended a 19-game goal drought with his 11th of the seasonas New Yorkmoved ahead of Pittsburgh into sole possession of second place in the Metropolitan Division.

Red Wings 5, Sabres 4: Tyler Bertuzzi had two goals, including the winner in overtime, to lead Detroit to a victory at Buffalo.
Panthers 5, Senators 2: Jonathan Huberdeau scored twice and visiting Florida beat Ottawa to snap a three-game losing streak.
