Antonio Brown will reportedly be suspended after argument with Raiders GM Mike Mayock

A day after Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown publicly expressed his displeasure toward the team for fining him over missing a practice and walk-through, the All-Pro reportedly “got into it” with general manager Mike Mayock and will be suspended.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday morning the Raiders plan to suspend Brown after the incident.

“Antonio Brown posted the fine letter on social media that Raiders’ GM Mike Mayock sent him,” Schefter tweeted. “It led to an exchange, which is now leading to further discipline. This is not going away anytime soon.”

On Wednesday, Brown posted a letter from Mayock on Instagram. The letter informed Brown of fines of $40,000 and $13,950 for unexcused absences on Aug. 18 and Aug. 22.

“WHEN YOUR OWN TEAM WANT TO HATE BUT THERE’S NO STOPPING ME NOW DEVIL IS A LIE,” Brown wrote in his Instagram post. “EVERYONE GOT TO PAY THIS YEAR SO WE CLEAR.”
