BART reporting there’s an active shooter near San Bruno station

San Bruno police said they are at Tanforan Mall in San Bruno investigating reports of a shooting. They advised residents to stay out of that area.

BART has closed the San Bruno station after receiving reports of an active shooter at Tanforan Mall outside of the San Bruno station, the transit agency said in a tweet Tuesday afternoon.

“As precaution, trains are not stopping and the station is closed. Trains are running through San Bruno,” reads the @SFBART Twitter account.

BART further said that there is currently no planned bus bridge at San Bruno because of the situation.
