The Chiefs are investigating an incident in which star receiver Tyreek Hill was involved in a domestic battery episode in suburban Kansas City earlier this week.
The team said in a statement that it was aware of a police report filed Thursday by the Overland Park Police Department that lists Hill’s address and identifies a juvenile as the victim. Hill’s fiancee, Crystal Espinal, is identified among “others involved.”
The couple has a 3-year-old son, Zev.
No charges have been filed against Hill, but the investigation is ongoing.
Hill, 25, has a history of domestic violence.
Browns’ Hunt suspended: The NFL suspended Browns running back Kareem Hunt for eight games after a video showed him kicking a woman and his involvement in a fight at a resort while he was playing for the Chiefs last year.
Hunt will not be paid during the half-season suspension. He said he wants to “again apologize for my actions.”
Tannehill to Titans: The Miami Dolphins traded Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans in a deal that included low-round draft picks.
Tannehill signed a one-year deal to replace former 49ers quarterback Blaine Gabbert as the backup to Marcus Mariota. General manager Jon Robinson said Friday that Gabbert will be released.
