Drake really wants to stay friends with Steph Curry based on his NBA Finals outfit

Toronto rapper Drake is a die-hard Raptors fan, but he also has multiple Warriors tattoos.

In order to show respect for the Warriors but still support his hometown team, he showed up to Game 1 of the NBA Finals wearing a Dell Curry Raptors jersey.

Stephen’s father Dell spent the last three seasons of his career with the Raptors and played sparingly for them off the bench.

Drake will undoubtedly be heckling Warriors players in Game 1, but the Warriors aren’t concerned.

“Drake can’t shoot, nor can he pass,” Draymond Green said last week. “You ever seen Drake play basketball? I saw a couple highlights. They wasn’t so high. So I really don’t care.”

“I’m not worried about Drake,” head coach Steve Kerr said. “I called him on his cellphone.”

When asked if he’ll be listening to Drake music ahead of the Finals, Klay Thompson had a very on-brand answer.

“If it’s a bad song, I’ll skip it,” he said. “If it’s one of his hits, I’ll play it.”
