Fire burns at Mission District home Friday

A fire broke out at a two-story single family home in the Mission District Friday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

At 9:04 a.m., the Fire Department reported crews responded to a first-alarm fire at 732 Treat Ave. “Avoid the area,” the department advised.

Puffs of white smoke emanated from the conflagration and the campfire smell quickly spread across the neighborhood and into Noe Valley.

The incident is under investigation.
