The Houston Texans’ linebacker is engaged to his girlfriend, professional soccer player Kealia Ohai. Both tweeted word of their engagement Sunday with photos showing Watt down on one knee before Ohai along a waterfront and rocky coast with a beautiful sunset. Watt, 30, the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, tweeted, “I’m the luckiest man in the world” and “#SheSaidYes.” Ohai, 27, tweeted : “I love you.” Ohai plays for the Houston Dash and has scored 27 goals in 92 games since 2014. And she has one thing that Watt doesn’t: a world championship. She scored the only goal in the final of the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup against Germany, the only goal the Germans conceded in the entire tournament. That was the same year she won an NCAA title with North Carolina.
The former Cincinnati Bengals head coach is headed to the Pac-12, joining Herm Edwards’ staff at Arizona State as a special adviser. Lewis, 60, spent 16 seasons coaching the Bengals and is the franchise’s all-time wins leader with 131. He led Cincinnati to seven playoff appearances, including five straight (2011-15), and four division titles. The Bengals fired Lewis following a 6-10 season in 2018. Lewis was represented by current ASU athletic director Ray Anderson, a former agent. His daughter, Whitney, went to school there. Lewis previously was the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens from 1996 through 2001 and helped lead them to a Super Bowl victory in 2000. He also worked as an assistant coach with Washington and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
