Having been recently spurned in his offer to be President Trump’s new chief of staff, the former A’s outfielder has a new adventure planned: hunting for Bigfoot and aliens. And you can travel with Canseco for a mere $5,000 in cash. Canseco tweeted the offer Tuesday: “Go on a Bigfoot and alien Excursion with Jose Canseco contact Morgan Management.” When the Huffington Post called the listed number, it received a text reply that read in part: “Only 5 lucky individuals will get a golden ticket. Oompa loompas ain’t got nothing on Bigfoot. Travel in his custom RV … You never know what’s gonna happen with Mr. Canseco.” No, you certainly don’t. Last month, Canseco tweeted that aliens had given him the secret to time travel.
The heavyweight champion finally is heading to the United States. Joshua will make his American boxing debut when he defends his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO belts against Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden on June 1. “I plan to embrace the culture and leave with an appetite for more,” said Joshua, whose 22 professional fights have taken place in Britain. He has won all of those bouts, 21 by knockout. His past five fights have been in stadiums, with nearly 400,000 spectators attending in total. The highest-profile bout was against Wladimir Klitschko in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in April 2017. The fight will be carried by DAZN, the streaming service, and will be on live television in the U.K.
