Add Klay Thompson to the list of people who think there are better burger chains than In-N-Out.
Just before the Western Conference Finals shifted to Portland for Games 3 and 4, Thompson said he was looking forward to eating at Burgerville, a Pacific Northwest burger chain that the Warriors star grew up with during his childhood in Oregon.
“I love Burgerville, it’s my favorite,” Klay told reporters last Wednesday.
When a reporter asked if he likes it more than In-N-Out, Thompson quickly answered, “Yeah, I like it better.”

NBC Sports Northwest tweeted out a video clip of Thompson’s comments hours before Game 4 on Monday night, and Burgerville’s official Twitter account showed the Warriors star some love.
“And Burgerville loves Klay Thompson!!” the chain tweeted with a heart emoji.
However, a few Trail Blazers fans weren’t super happy their local burger chain was making nice with the enemy.
“Damn @BurgervilleUSA way to be loyal,” one user tweeted. “You know that’s the enemy right?”
Burgerville responded with, “LOL, we love our local team (Go Blazers!) but this doesn’t mean we can’t love Klay too!!!”
Thompson is not the only member of the Warriors who prefers other burger chains to In-N-Out.
In February, Jordan Bell recorded a video of the locker room arguing over which was better, Five Guys or In-N-Out, with Bell and DeMarcus Cousins arguing for In-N-Out while Stephen Curry and Alfonzo McKinnie sided with Five Guys.
If the Warriors win Game 4, however, Klay may not be able to eat at Burgerville for a while.
