Klay Thompson pumps up a crowd, sinks a couple of jumpers

Last time we checked in on the progress of Klay Thompson’s rehab, he was hanging out with his extremely good dog Rocco while doing physical therapy on his left leg. One month has passed since the posting of that high-quality Instagram. The Warriors guard, it seems, is making more progress.

Thompson was at the VMWorld Conference in San Francisco hosting a fundraiser for his charitable foundation on Wednesday, NBC Bay Area reported. Evidently, this fundraiser involved a hoop, which was the only cue Klay needed to go to work.

In a video shared by Warriors fan account TheWarriorsTalk, Thompson can be seen hyping up a crowd of tech conference onlookers before sinking a deep jumper from the convention floor.

As one Twitter user noted, you can actually see Thompson leap a little bit as he releases his shot, which can only be seen as good news. OK, it’s a small jump. Maybe we call it a hop. Still, a hop!

Thompson recently shared a series of photos from a vacation in France with his girlfriend, Laura Harrier, on Instagram, where he could not avoid the wrath of one Zaza Pachulia. “Finally somebody loves you bro,” the former Warriors center wrote, who then added a “crying” emoji and a “peace” emoji.

If Klay figured he could dodge Zaza if he stayed off the Internet, he just received some bad news: Pachulia was just named as the newest Warriors consultant. At least he will have someone to entertain him as he pushes through his early season rehab.
