Magnitude 3.5 Earthquake Strikes South Bay

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck the South Bay Monday afternoon, the USGS reports.

The temblor reported at 1:46 p.m. struck 9 miles north of Morgan Hill and 14 miles east of San Jose, according to the USGS.

Residents in the area reported feeling a quick jolt.
