Runners, some in colorful, elaborate costumes, others just in running gear, had fun despite the rainy weather at the 108th Bay to Breakers.
The winner of Sunday’s race was Gabriel Geay, with a time of 35:01, and the winner of the women’s division was Caroline Rotich, with a time of 39:28.
But for those who weren’t racing competitively, the costumes were wide-ranging. There were send ups to the Super Mario video game franchise, the 2017 film “It,” and the 1989 film “Troop Beverly Hills.”
GROUP COSTUMES: The best Bay to Breakers group costumes
There were women dressed up as bumblebees, a man in a sunflower costume, and one man who looked like he was riding a rooster.
And then there was the devil bus.
Check out what costumes runners were wearing at San Francisco’s Bay to Breakers in the slideshow above.
