Despite the weather forecast predicting fog for much of the Bay Area’s Fourth of July, plenty of folks lined the San Francisco waterfront hoping for a good view of the fireworks.
Instead, the overcast weather shrouded much of the brilliance of the holiday’s display, with only half of the planned fireworks visible to viewers.
What one could see of the fireworks was still dazzling, however, and managed to reward those who braved the San Francisco cold to celebrate Independence Day.
