Santa Clara Valley Water District Wants to Raise Prices

A South Bay water district says it needs to raise the price of its water.

The Santa Clara Valley Water District says it wants to hike prices by more than 6% to help balance its budget. Part of the district’s budget goes to improvement projects.

An example is the flood control project along Silver Creek.
