Police are investigating the shooting of two men at Sixth and Mission streets in San Francisco on Friday.

A suspect is at large after two men were shot in the South of Market neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, the shooting occurred at 1:38 p.m. at Sixth and Mission streets.

According to the police, the victims were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. They were identified as male.

The Golden Gate Bus said that there will be no service at Fifth and Mission because of police activity related to the shooting. They advised commuters to use the stops at Mission and Third or Mission and First instead and to expect delays on the routes 30, 70 and 101.
