The Grade 3, $250,000 San Francisco Mile headlines the program that also includes the $100,000 California Derby and four $75,000 stakes: the California Oaks, the Golden Poppy, the Camilla Urso and the Lost in the Fog. … Nominations close Friday for two $100,000 stakes for California-bred 3-year-olds April 28: the Silky Sullivan and the Campanile for fillies. … Koa, the $725,000 purchase who finished second in his debut for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer on March 28, is the lukewarm 3-1 morning-line favorite in Friday’s sixth race. Michael Stinson bought the son of Bodemeister at the 2018 Ocala March Sale of 2-year-olds in training. … Secret Wind seeks her fourth straight win while continuing her climb up the claiming ladder in Saturday’s seventh race. Secret Wind won a $12,500 maiden-claimer and a $6,250 claimer sprinting, and then led start to finish in a $12,500 route. She runs for $20,000 in Saturday’s 1-mile grass race for 3-year-old fillies.
