A driver was transported to a hospital following a collision involving a VTA train in San Jose, the Mercury News’ Robert Salonga reports.
The incident was reported at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of North First and Rosemary streets, according to Salonga.
An NBC Bay Area crew is headed to scene.

Came upon a car that was broadsided by a #VTA train around 12:20 p.m. today at North First and Rosemary. The driver was injured but able to get out of the car, and was taken to a local hospital.
