Perhaps it is the end of the Oracle Arena era, or maybe people are sensing this could be the last gasp of a great Warriors run, but single tickets for this season’s NBA Finals are selling for eye-popping amounts. And the series hasn’t even started.
According to sports analyst Darren Rovell, a pair of tickets to Game 3 of the Warriors-Raptors series has sold for $93,000. Was that a super wealthy Warriors fan, or a super wealthy rapper who wants to make sure he’s right near Toronto coach Nick Nurse? Whoever it was, they got topped, because another buyer has scooped up four second row seats to Game 4 for $181,740. That’s $45,435 per ticket.
If this series turns into a nailbiter, who knows how much higher the prices may go, but some ticket sellers appear to be hoping it’s a lot.

On Ticketmaster, the Warriors official ticketing partner, one seller is trying to get $100,000 for a floor level seat. Another person is asking $54,193 for a single ticket, and yet another is hoping to score $39,371. Whether they get that remains to be seen.
Still, if you’re willing to sit in the nosebleeds for this historic series, you can currently score seats for $500 apiece. Just don’t forget to bring your binoculars.
