Yes, you can be arrested for riding a horse drunk

On Sunday, a California Highway Patrol officer responded to a report of a person suspected to be riding a horse while intoxicated on Highway 152 near College Road in Santa Cruz County. After the officer performed a DUI evaluation, he arrested the man for public intoxication, not a DUI.

In a social media post, CHP Santa Cruz County reminded the public that you can be arrested for DUI not only on a horse, but a bicycle, hoverboard, or motorized scooter.
